The idea
A neighbourhood where a green spine, not the road network, is the main street.
Residential blocks sit either side of a continuous park that runs down to the nullah. A civic plaza with a school, mosque and market sits where the spine crosses the main road, within a short walk of every home.

Green spine, walkable blocks.
The plan starts with the landscape: a park that collects rainwater and runs to the nullah. Streets and blocks are then laid out so that no home is more than a few minutes' walk from it.
